Nawal Khaddaj is an artist from Ottawa, Ontario, who has been creating unique cakes for the last six years. Nawal is passionate about creating edible art, and draws inspiration from nature and growth.
She tried many different ways of decorating cakes, until developing a method for creating flowers out of dehydrated fruit. She fell in love with the rustic, organic look of each petal.
For every flower made, Nawal embraces the natural imperfections of the fruit, and creates authentic, nature-inspired art.
